CEO Global has named Reunion Insurance Company Managing Director, Dorothy Chapeyama, Africa\u2019s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government in the Financial Sector Award.<\/p>\n
Chapeyama has been recognised for her selfless acts of entrepreneurship and leadership.<\/p>\n
CEO Global Awards are an annual industry and peers recognition programme honouring CEOs and companies of all types and sizes in North America, Europe, Middle- East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin- America.<\/p>\n
Chapeyama also previously won the award at country and regional levels.<\/p>\n
She is a three-time Insurance Association of Malawi President and received her award during a CEO Global gala night held at Midrand Conference Center in South Africa.<\/p>\n
At a special recognition dinner hosted for her at Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre, Chapeyama dedicated the award to all Malawians.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am proud to be carrying the flag of the nation to the continent. This is an indication that there are people that recognise the efforts we invest in the business and that, as a nation, we can play a role in continental or global business,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Chapeyama also attributed her success to growth strides Reunion Insurance, a company she owns, has made over the past several years.<\/p>\n
