{"id":37490,"date":"2016-12-15T08:54:20","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T06:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=37490"},"modified":"2016-12-15T08:54:23","modified_gmt":"2016-12-15T06:54:23","slug":"caf-a-coaching-course-ends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/12\/15\/caf-a-coaching-course-ends\/","title":{"rendered":"Caf A coaching course ends"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Confederation of African Football (Caf) A Licence coaching course ended in Blantyre on Tuesday with a call on local coaches to use the knowledge gained in improving the country\u2019s football standards.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty three coaches took part in the 30-day course at Mpira Village in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the notable faces included former Flames coaches Enerst Mtawali, Yasin Osman, Jack Chamangwana and Nswazurwimo Ramadhan.<\/p>\n<p>South African-based Malawian coach, Patrick Mabedi, was also in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Caf instructor, Honour Janza, hailed the coaches for their commitment to learning new methods of training their teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we started this course, I noted some gaps among them. But I am sure that from now onwards, they will never be the same because we have drilled them in modern football coaching skills. We need modern football in Africa,\u201d Chanza said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the coaches, Stewart Mbolembole thanked Football Association of Malawi for organising the course.<\/p>\n<p>Super League coaches like Alex Ngwira, Lloyd Nkhwazi, Audrow Makonyola, Collins Nkuna, Mike Kumanga, Charles Manda are some of the current Super League coaches who took part.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Confederation of African Football (Caf) A Licence coaching course ended in Blantyre on Tuesday with a call on local coaches to use the knowledge gained in improving the country\u2019s football standards.
