Football Association of Malawi (Fam) says tickets for the Fisd Challenge Cup finals between Kamuzu Barracks and Be Forward Wanderers will be sold on match day at Civo stadium.<\/p>\n
Competitions Manager, Gomezgani Zakazaka, said the move is aimed at countering the duplication of tickets by some unscrupulous individuals.<\/p>\n
\u201cCurrently, our tickets do not have security features. This means that they can easily be duplicated. But next year we will introduce tickets with strong features that cannot be reproduced,\u201d Zakazaka explained.<\/p>\n
Charges for open stands at the match are K1,500 while covered stands are costing K5,000.<\/p>\n
A VIP stand seat is worth K7,000<\/p>\n
Zakazaka appealed to supporters to get to the stadium in good time to avoid congestion at the gates.<\/p>\n
\u201cGates will be opened at 8 o\u2019clock in the morning because the sponsors have also lined up some activities like live performances by Lulu and his band to spice up the event. Otherwise everything from Fam\u2019s side is finalised and we are just waiting for the big day,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Kamuzu Barracks reached the final after ousting Silver Strikers 1-0 in the second semifinal following Wanderers victory over Blue Eagles with the same margin.<\/p>\n
