According to the ruling dated November 20, 2016 and signed by Football Association of Malawi\u2019s (Fam) outgoing General Secretary, Suzgo Nyirenda, the competition\u2019s organising committee came up with the verdict after examining reports, including from the police and the officiating personnel.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incidents happened in the full view of police and stewards, who unfortunately, failed to apprehend the fan,\u201d reads the letter in part, adding that any aggrieved party can appeal within 48 hours upon paying K450, 000.<\/p>\n
Bullets\u2019 Chairperson, Noel Lipipa, questioned the role of the stewards and the police if they cannot apprehend a fan.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow do they know that he is a genuine Bullets\u2019 supporter? In all fairness, I do not see any reason for hiring the stewards and the policemen when they cannot arrest a single fan. We think he was sent by some quarters to tarnish our reputation,\u201d Lipipa said without elaborating whether they will appeal or not.<\/p>\n
