{"id":36139,"date":"2016-11-24T10:07:56","date_gmt":"2016-11-24T08:07:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=36139"},"modified":"2016-11-24T12:18:03","modified_gmt":"2016-11-24T10:18:03","slug":"edgar-kachere-to-wed-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/11\/24\/edgar-kachere-to-wed-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Edgar Kachere to wed Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edgar Kachere, a member of Edgar ndi Davis Band, weds his fianc\u00e9e, Isabella Mandambwe, this Saturday in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n<p>The officiation will take place at St Patrick\u2019s Catholic Church in Area 18 in Lilongwe while the reception will be held at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC).<\/p>\n<p>In an interview yesterday, chairman of the organising committee of the wedding, Kelvin Sentala, said the reception was supposed to be held at Sunbird Capital Hotel but it has been shifted to BICC due to other challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reception for the wedding has moved to BICC. We had some challenges with the first venue but everything is in place now,\u201d Sentala said.<\/p>\n<p>Kachere is the member of Edgar ndi Davis Band famed for hits such as <em>Energy Saver<\/em> and <em>Wazelezeka<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Kachere said the best man for his wedding is his long time friend Davis Njobvu, who is also a member of the Edgar ndi Davis Band.<\/p>\n<p>Sentala also said Edgar ndi Davis Band as well as veteran musician Giddes Chalamanda will perform during the wedding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Edgar Kachere, a member of Edgar ndi Davis Band, weds his fianc\u00e9e, Isabella Mandambwe, this Saturday in Lilongwe.
