T<\/strong>NM Super League giants, Nyasa Big Bullets, have recruited two administrators as the club moves a step further in the fulfilment of Club Licensing System requirements.<\/p>\n

The club\u2019s General Secretary, Kelvin Moyo, confirmed yesterday that Macward Themba is the team\u2019s administrator and he will be assisted by Charles Dakalira, who will be based in the Central Region.<\/p>\n

He said the recruitment of permanent staff was an indication that the club was on the right track to abolish the positions of General Secretary (GS) and Treasurer in future.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing forward, we, in future, need to get rid of some positions such as GS and Treasurer so that we are in line with Club Licensing System requirements. We believe this is the best way to run the club,\u201d Moyo said.<\/p>\n

He described the two administrators as highly educated with both possessing masters degrees. Themba is reported to have once managed the then Gola United, which late John Zingale used to own.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir main job is to bring revenue to the club. Themba has already started working and the other one will start on December 1. We have opened an office where they are operating from,\u201d Moyo added.<\/p>\n

Bullets\u2019 Board of Trustees\u2019 General Secretary, Jim Kalua, also confirmed the development, saying the recruitment of the permanent staff was endorsed during the extra-ordinary general meeting held in Lilongwe in July this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is happening is in line with Club Licensing and implementation of resolutions made at the EGM,\u201dhe said.<\/p>\n

Local clubs have often been criticised for failing to produce audited accounts at the end of every season.<\/p>\n

A decade ago, Bullets also opened a secretariat at the Trade Fair Grounds in Blantyre when the team was under Cifu Group, but it closed shop after the then owners, the Msiska brothers were shown the exit.<\/p>\n

In 2014, Bullets fans also ransacked an office which Bullets opened in Blantyre, in a bid to force out the then chairperson, Kondie Msungama.<\/p>\n

On the pitch, Bullets are struggling having gone three consecutive games without a win.<\/p>\n

Following the poor run of form, Bullets have hired former Be Forward Wanderers\u2019 coach, Elia Kananji, as an advisor until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Bullets are fourth on the log table with 42 points, three points behind current leaders, Blue Eagles. Be Forward Wanderers and Eagles also have secretariat staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
