Faith Mussa has travelled a long journey in his music career to be where he is today.<\/p>\n
Starting from the time he used to perform with his parents and brothers under the name Mussa Family to performing with his brothers.<\/p>\n
But today he is calling the shorts as a solo artist which has even seen him shining with his one-man band set.<\/p>\n
Faith has moved souls with his music in different platforms within and outside the country with the latest being his performance at the one-day Tumaini Festival in Dowa last Saturday.<\/p>\n
His album Desperate <\/em>has done well on the market selling more copies.<\/p>\n The youthful singer, who is a graduate of the University of Malawi, makes another serious move when he launches his single Mdidi <\/em>at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe in a show dubbed A Night with Faith Mussa.<\/p>\n \u201cI am going to go through my music life story in songs. I am going to take people on a journey of music starting with the time of the Mussa Family, Mussa Brothers to my solo career,\u201d Faith said.<\/p>\n Mdidi <\/em>is Faith\u2019s latest single which is currently enjoying airplay in most of the country\u2019s radio stations likewise its video.<\/p>\n This is a song in which the artist praises God saying he has all the power and tells it all that satan is a loser.<\/p>\n \u201cI am launching this single Mdidi <\/em>because I feel like time has come that as artists we should also do business unusual,\u201d said the guitarist.<\/p>\n He said during the concert, the audience will have the priviledge of buying his music package which will comprise of Desperate <\/em>album, Mdidi <\/em>audio and DVD.<\/p>\n Faith said the Mdidi <\/em>single is special to him because it defines a special music direction which he will keep exploring every now and then.<\/p>\n He said people will experience his performance with the Mdidi Band but also at the CheMuphu 1 man Band where he performs alone playing several instruments.<\/p>\n \u201cWe will be on point in terms of time so I urge people to come early so as not to miss out otherwise I am set with the band and it will be a night to remember,\u201d Faith said.<\/p>\n Faith\u2019s manager, Samuel Chibaka, said this was a show not to be missed.<\/p>\n \u201cFew local artists have influenced the sound and trajectory of popular local gospel music more distinctly, or touched quite so many people with their talents and Faith is doing it all,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The supporting acts during the show are Sam Mjura Mkandawire and Nyandoro Stanley Nthenga.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Faith Mussa has travelled a long journey in his music career to be where he is today.
