Mzuni FC\u2019s Chairperson, Felix Bello, admitted in an interview with The Daily Times <\/em>on Tuesday that the sit-in had brought uncertainty to the institution\u2019s football team.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, the situation is a bit complicated at the moment. We have one worry\u2013 our preparations are being compromised. But we will do anything possible to travel to fulfill those games,\u201d Bello said.<\/p>\n The Chairperson, a lecturer himself, however said he hopes that the team travels to Blantyre this weekend, as the majority of the technical panel are not lecturers.<\/p>\n \u201cIf it was not about travelling to fulfill our league fixtures, then it could have been that trip to Lilongwe over a week ago, because at that time this sit-in issue was just starting,\u201d Bello added<\/p>\n \u201cI must also say that the Coach [Alex Ngwira] and his deputy [McNebart Kazuwa], among others, are like any other Mzuni employee, but they are not part and parcel of the sit-in considering that the whole sit-in idea is bordering on academic staff.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Mzuni FC\u2019s Vice-Captain, Hudson Milanzi, has insisted that the on-going elephants-fight between the institution\u2019s Academic Staff Union and its Non-Academic Staff Trade Union concerning salary dispute is not affecting the players\u2019 morale.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the pitch, everything is going on well.
