Former Malawi National Football Team captain, John Maduka, has been thrown to the deep end of his infant coaching career at South Africa Premiership side, Bloemfontein Celtic.<\/p>\n
Celtic have handed Maduka, who has never coached at the highest level, a caretaker coaching role alongside Lehlohonolo Seema, following the sacking of Head Coach, Serame Letsoaka, on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Letsoaka got the bullet day after losing 1-2 to Gabadhinho Mhango-inspired BidVest Wits in a league match.<\/p>\n
Celtic Chief Executive Officer, Khumbulani Konco, confirmed that their former captains, Maduka and Seema, will be in charge when taking on Cape Town City today. Maduka\u2019s actual role is TeamManager.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, results are not forthcoming and the reality is that football is results driven. After our meeting with the coach, we agreed to part ways,\u201d reads www. bloemfonteincelticfco.co.za. <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt was not an easy decision to take, purely because of our healthy relationship with the coach.
