{"id":34439,"date":"2016-10-27T07:48:26","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T05:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=34439"},"modified":"2016-10-27T07:48:26","modified_gmt":"2016-10-27T05:48:26","slug":"malawi-womens-friendly-shelved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/10\/27\/malawi-womens-friendly-shelved\/","title":{"rendered":"Malawi Women\u2019s friendly shelved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Women\u2019s Football Team\u2019s friendly game against their Zambian counterparts has been shelved, Football Association of Malawi (Fam) General Secretary, Suzgo Nyirenda, confirmed Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The delays in appointing a coach for the Malawi team has necessitated the postponement of the game that was scheduled for Tuesday in Lusaka, Nyirenda added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFam\u2019s Technical and Youth sub-committee has to meet on Friday [tomorrow] and recommend the names of the team\u2019s coaches to the Executive Committee, which will meet at Mzuzu Hotel on Saturday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will also recommend the names of coaches for Malawi Under-20 and Under-15 national football teams. As for the friendly game against Zambia, it is now a question of us coming up with another day once we are ready.
