Be Forward Wanderers have eased their goalkeeping crisis by officially signing Cameroonian, Etoga Noah Hamza, on a two-and-a-half-year contract.<\/p>\n
The Nomads were forced to feature Goalkeepers\u2019 Trainer, Valence Kamzere, due to either injuries or suspensions of regulars, Richard Chipuwa and Nenani Juwaya.<\/p>\n
Chipuwa has not been seen at the Lali Lubani Road since the team\u2019s recent 1-2 loss to Kamuzu Barracks where police rescued him from an angry mob, compelling the goal-minder to stay away from Saturday\u2019s game against Premier Bet Wizards at Kamuzu Stadium.<\/p>\n
Wanderers, featuring Kamzere between the sticks, defeated Wizards 2-0.<\/p>\n
Wanderers\u2019 General Secretary, Mike Butao, confirmed that Hamza\u2019s work permit was ready.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe technical panel recommended him to the executive and we signed him based on what was seen of him. He is quite good and we believe that he will contribute to our success,\u201d Butao explained.<\/p>\n
In the absence of Chipuwa, the Nomads were unable to feature Nenani Juwaya as the former Azam Tigers\u2019 custodian is injured alongside Peter Munthali.<\/p>\n
Hamza, who says he was once called up for camp-training with Cameroon Under-20 national team, confirmed having signed the contract.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am settling down well in Malawi. I am getting used to the surroundings and the people are nice. I want to contribute what I can to Wanderers,\u201d said the keeper, who also claims that his last club was Sunshine Stars of the Nigeria.<\/p>\n
