{"id":34277,"date":"2016-10-25T09:24:45","date_gmt":"2016-10-25T07:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=34277"},"modified":"2016-10-25T09:24:45","modified_gmt":"2016-10-25T07:24:45","slug":"tigresses-to-play-in-rainbow-paints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/10\/25\/tigresses-to-play-in-rainbow-paints\/","title":{"rendered":"Tigresses to play in Rainbow Paints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rainbow Paints Southern Region Netball League (SRNL) defending champions, Tigresses, will no longer be exempted from the leagues\u2019 games after contributing a player to the Malawi Queens\u2019 squad for the Fast5 Netball World Series.<\/p>\n<p>Top-three teams in the region, including Tigresses, were on break after contributing more players to the senior team, which has since left for Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Following the release of the final 10-member Malawi Queens\u2019 squad, Tigresses\u2019 skipper, Grace Mwafulirwa-Mhango, is the club\u2019s sole member for the Fast5 team.<\/p>\n<p>SRNL General Secretary, Annie Hanjahanja, said following Malawi Queens\u2019 departure for Australia, only Thunder Queens and Kukoma Diamonds would be exempted from games.<\/p>\n<p>Tigresses\u2019 players, Sindie Simtowe-Msowoya, Catherine Yikwanga, Beatrice Mpinganjira and Lauren Ngwira, were left out of the national team\u2019s travelling party.<\/p>\n<p>Tigresses\u2019 coach, Peace Chawinga-Kaluwa, said they were ready to return to action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen it comes to the rules, we are always in the know.
