Malawi Under-20 National Football Team is among five seeded sides for the Council for Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) Youth Championship scheduled from December 7 to 16 in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Going into Wednesday\u2019s draw, the Junior Flames will be seeded alongside other highest-ranked Namibia, Lesotho, Comoros, Botswana and Zambia in Pot One.<\/p>\n
Pot Two has Rwanda, Malawi, Swaziland, Mauritius and Seychelles, according to www.cosafa.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n The first four teams drawn from Pot One will take up the second positions in Groups A-D, while the first four teams from Pot Two will take up the third positions in the pools.<\/p>\n That will leave two teams remaining in the pots and these will be randomly drawn into Groups A and C, the two pools that have four teams.<\/p>\n The teams will play each other in a round-robin format with the top side from each pool advancing to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n The top two teams in Groups B and D, after the second round of matches, will play a third match as a crossover game between those two pools, to ensure that most competing sides gets to play three times.<\/p>\n The top team in Group B will play the second team in Group D and vice-versa.<\/p>\n The matches will be played at Mogwase Stadium and Moruleng Stadium, with the latter being used exclusively from the semi-finals onwards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Malawi Under-20 National Football Team is among five seeded sides for the Council for Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) Youth Championship scheduled from December 7 to 16 in South Africa.
