All is still not well in Be Forward Wanderers\u2019 camp as some players are demanding their signing-on fees as the season nears the end.<\/p>\n
Wanderers\u2019 captain, Francis Mlimbika, reportedly boycotted the team\u2019s trip to the Capital City where the Nomads beat Civo United 1-2 on Saturday before losing to Kamuzu Barracks by the similar margin the following day.<\/p>\n
Nomads Vice Chairperson, Gift Mkandawire, confirmed owing the players.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have devised a schedule for them. It is not a big deal as long as they understand. We do not have floating money at the moment,\u201d Mkandawire said in a written response.<\/p>\n
Reports suggest Mlimbika and Kaziputa are demanding about K400, 000 each.<\/p>\n
Mlimbika yesterday played down the issue.<\/p>\n
\u201cI pulled my thigh muscles on Thursday hence I could not travel to Lilongwe. I am not aware of issues to do with money,\u201d Mlimbika said.<\/p>\n
However, the team\u2019s technical staff insisted that Mlimbika was not injured.<\/p>\n
Before the season, exciting midfielder, Isaac Kaliati, also took the club to task for failing to pay his five percent transfer cut.<\/p>\n
During the team\u2019s trip to Lilongwe, Wanderers\u2019 new coach, Yasin Osman, dropped Jafali Chande, Jimmy Zakazaka and Kaziputa, saying they were not ready for the games.<\/p>\n
After the defeat to KB, Osman said his side lacked commitment to win the match.<\/p>\n
The coach, who replaced Eddingtone Ng\u2019onamo last week, also questioned the commitment of some players and suggested that the squad was too big.<\/p>\n
The team is also facing an injury crisis with defenders Foster Namwera, Harry Nyirenda, Isaac Kaliati and Boston Kabango all out injured.<\/p>\n
