{"id":33857,"date":"2016-10-18T09:27:02","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T07:27:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=33857"},"modified":"2016-10-18T09:27:08","modified_gmt":"2016-10-18T07:27:08","slug":"sweet-banana-show-on-dan-lu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/10\/18\/sweet-banana-show-on-dan-lu\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet Banana\u2019 show on\u2014Dan Lu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Afro-pop musician Dan Lufani on Friday an\u00adnounced that the launch of his <em>Sweet Banana <\/em>song in which he featured Nigerian star Kcee was on and that it will take place at Lilongwe Golf Club on November 6.<\/p>\n<p>The comment came against the backdrop of a video from a Sisqo Produc\u00adtions member, who said that they had got an injunc\u00adtion stopping Dan Lu from participating in any shows and that his November 6 show would not take place.<\/p>\n<p>But Dan Lu went ahead to perform at the Mothers Day Eve concert organised by Entertainers Promotions and also performed at the Unima Got Talent show at College of Medicine Com\u00adplex on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, Sisqo Pro\u00adductions which signed Dan Lu indicated that they had spent a lot of money on the musician including taking him to Nigeria where he ended up linking up with Kcee and Flavour for col\u00adlaborations.<\/p>\n<p>Sisqo Productions claimed that Dan Lu had failed to adhere to the contract and instead went about doing things on his own including organising the Sweet Banana launch which will be graced by Kcee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me inform you that the Sweet Banana show is on and Kcee is coming so save the date which is No\u00advember 6 at Lilongwe Golf Club,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>And yesterday the artist said he has been advised by his lawyers to go ahead with the Lilongwe show adding \u201cthe injunction was not served to my lawyers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dan Lu also revealed that he will release his new single <em>Village Champion <\/em>on November 5 ahead of the Sweet Banana launch on November 6.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Kcee has released another video con\u00adfirming that he is coming and that Malawi should get ready.<\/p>\n<p>He said he is coming on November 6 as he had indi\u00adcated earlier and that peo\u00adple should not mind what is being said and what they have heard and insisted he was coming to party with Malawians.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Afro-pop musician Dan Lufani on Friday an\u00adnounced that the launch of his Sweet Banana song in which he featured Nigerian star Kcee was on and that it will take place at Lilongwe Golf Club on November 6.
