{"id":33681,"date":"2016-10-14T11:43:41","date_gmt":"2016-10-14T09:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=33681"},"modified":"2016-10-14T11:43:41","modified_gmt":"2016-10-14T09:43:41","slug":"fdh-bank-promotes-saving-culture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/10\/14\/fdh-bank-promotes-saving-culture\/","title":{"rendered":"FDH Bank promotes saving culture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>F<\/strong>DH Bank is encouraging its customers to keep some of their earnings to use during the festive season through its Miliyoneya promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during the fourth draw of the promotion in Blantyre on Tuesday, the bank\u2019s Head of Personal and Business Management, Kawawa Msapato, said adopting a saving culture can help to develop the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are trying to promote saving culture among our customers through promotions like these. As we are approaching the festive season, you know people spend a lot of money yet they have to meet other equally important expenditures in January like school fees for their children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo what we are saying is customers should save money with us. With a minimum saving of K50,000 one automatically enters the promotion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>During the draw, Lilongwe based Sophie Gidala won the monthly grand price of K500,000.<\/p>\n<p>Other prizes given out included K100,000 to five lucky customers, K50,000 to ten customers, 15 FDH branded t-shirts and umbrellas.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion has since been extended to November and one lucky customer is expected to win K5 million which is up for grabs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FDH Bank is encouraging its customers to keep some of their earnings to use during the festive season through its Miliyoneya promotion.
