Kamuzu Stadium management has clarified on Nyasa Big Bullets\u2019 training at the Blantyre facility on Tuesday, weeks after clubs\u2019 usage of the venue was suspended.<\/p>\n
Bullets also trained at the stadium prior to their TNM Super League 1-0 victory over rivals, Be Forward Wanderers, on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Recently, the stadium\u2019s management banned the two giants from using the venue in a move aimed at preserving the worn-out artificial turf.<\/p>\n
However, Kamuzu Stadium Manager, Ambilike Mwaungulu, said Bullets had four training sessions\u2019 arrears when the ban came into effect.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we decided to impose the ban, Bullets had already made an advance payment for some days. As a result, we agreed that whenever they needed to train at Kamuzu Stadium, they should notify us in advance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mwaungulu said in respect of the agreement, the People\u2019s Team trained before the derby and on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the supporters that went beyond the cordoned-off terraces during the derby, Mwaungulu said stakeholders would meet on how best to deal with the situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt does not happen often. A small section of the supporters went beyond the limit. We need to work jointly to stop that habit. Otherwise, the supporters must also be responsible,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
