Defenders Foster Namwera, Kondwani Lufeyo, Harry Nyirenda, strikers Jimmy Zakazaka, Peter Wadabwa and Jaffalie Chande are sidelined through injuries.<\/p>\n
Wadabwa, Nyirenda and Chande got injured last week in Dwangwa where the Nomads lost 2-1 to Mafco and drew 0-0 against Dwangwa United.<\/p>\n
Promising defender Boston Kabango is ill. Exciting winger, Isaac Kaliati, is also injured.<\/p>\n
But Nomads Assistant Coach, Elijah Kananji, has refused to press the panic button, saying they have replacements.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Wanderers are puzzled by the whereabouts of utility midfielder, Rafik Mussa, who has been absconding training for two months.<\/p>\n
The club\u2019s General Secretary, Mike Butao, confirmed yesterday that they have reported the issue to Football Association of Malawi (Fam), seeking guidance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t know what happened to him because it has been two months now without him reporting for training. He still has a running contract with us until November next year,\u201d Butao said.<\/p>\n
Recently, Wanderers\u2019 Nigerian striker, Amos Bello, also stopped training for some weeks.<\/p>\n
Bello has since returned to the club and is likely to face disciplinary action for misconduct.<\/p>\n
Wanderers have probably one of the best squads but they are failing to hit the ground running in the TNM Super League.<\/p>\n
