{"id":32731,"date":"2016-09-29T11:34:28","date_gmt":"2016-09-29T09:34:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=32731"},"modified":"2016-09-29T11:34:29","modified_gmt":"2016-09-29T09:34:29","slug":"sparc-systems-pledge-junior-golfs-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/09\/29\/sparc-systems-pledge-junior-golfs-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Sparc Systems pledge junior golf\u2019s support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sparc Systems Limited, experts in information technology business, have pledged support to junior golfers in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Sparc\u2019s Technical Sales Engineer, Esnor Bakali, spoke about the junior golfers after being impressed with their performance during a ladies\u2019 tournament held at Blantyre Sports Club last Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Zita Rodrick, playing off handicap 36, emerged the champion for the juniors\u2019 category after hitting 104 gross and 68 net whereas the runner-up, Quasaira Lambat, playing off handicap 36, scored 118 gross and 82 net.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is our contribution to the future of golf through these junior golfers. We are glad with their performance,\u201d Bakali said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a ladies\u2019 golf tournament and normally, the organisers had planned for about 40 golfers. In this instance, we had about 69 golfers, which is a very good response. Most of these were professional golfers and they had very good shots on their scorecards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He promised that Sparc Systems will bankroll another tournament next year, involving men and ladies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe sponsor golf to promote the sport as this is a sport that most of our customers associate with. As Sparc Systems, we are in the enterprise space of IT. Most of our customers play golf.
