Struggling Civo United\u2019s coach, Charles Manda, has been told to jack up following the team\u2019s poor run of form in the TNM Super League.<\/p>\n
Civo have become the second team to summon their technical panel after Be Forward Wanderers executive committee asked its Eddingtone N\u2019gonamo\u2013 led technical panel to submit a report on the team\u2019s poor showing in away Super League matches.<\/p>\n
Civo fired Millias Pofera as coach and roped in Manda, but results continue getting worse. Manda is yet to register a win since taking over the mantle.<\/p>\n
Over the weekend, Civo collected just one point from a possible six in Mzuzu to remain on position 12 with 19 points from 20 matches on the log table.<\/p>\n
Civo Vice-General Secretary, Ronald Chiwaula, said much as Manda was new at the club, he should not be complacent.<\/p>\n
Chiwaula said the executive committee will summon Manda to explain about the team\u2019s struggles this season.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are in a situation where we are failing to understand what is going on. We are meeting our coach as an executive committee because we thought that we could start the second round on a high, but it is worse. The coach should not relax. He was our Technical Director before taking over as head coach and he knows the problems,\u201d Chiwaula said.<\/p>\n
Since the start of the second round, Civo have lost 0-1 to Premier Bet Wizards, 0-1 to Karonga United, drew 1-1 against Red Lions and 0-0 against Moyale Barracks.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Lions believe that they will survive relegation.<\/p>\n
The Zomba based soldiers beat Azam Tigers 1-0 at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday to climb one step to position 11 with 19 points.<\/p>\n
