Be Forward Wanderers\u2019 Goalkeeper Trainer, Valence Kamzere, says he is unsure if he will continue playing once the Nomads\u2019 injured three goalkeepers return to action.<\/p>\n
Kamzere, who quit four years ago, kept a clean sheet on Saturday when Nomads defeated Karonga United 4-0 in a TNM Super League second round match at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is subject to discussions with management. If they want me to continue, there is no problem. It was business as usual for me getting back into action. I was psychologically ready as, before Richard Chipuwa got injured, I was his deputy during most Carlsberg Cup games,\u201d he explained yesterday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is minimal competition among goalkeepers these days. For example, at my peak, I used to fight for the number one jersey against top keepers such as Kenneth Kandulu, Bothwell Kuwanda (both now deceased) and Phillip Nyasulu.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kamzere stepped in for the injured Chipuwa, Nenani Juwaya and Peter Munthali.<\/p>\n
Last week, another veteran, Swadick Sanudi, also returned to action for Wanderers\u2019 rivals, Nyasa Big Bullets, in a 4-1 win over Kamuzu Barracks at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.<\/p>\n
