Having abandoned retirement by default to save depleted Nyasa Big Bullet s on Sunday, veteran goalkeeper, Swadick Sanudi, says he is ready to extend the last instalment of his playing career.<\/p>\n
With Bullets first-choice \u2018keeper Ernest Kakhobwe injured, Sanudi caught fans by surprise when he appeared in the Bullets\u2019 line-up at Kamuzu Stadium during their TNM Super League match against Kamuzu Barracks (KB). Bullets won the game 4-1.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am ready even for the national team. I did not stop playing due to form, but due to family issues. I also lacked motivation to carry on. Those in charge [of Bullets] at that time seemed to favour someone else, so I just stepped aside,\u201d said the Bullets\u2019 goalkeepers\u2019 trainer.<\/p>\n
Sanudi, who also played for Dynamos in South Africa, stepped in at Bullets as second-choice keeper, Chimwemwe Kumkwawa, was serving the last game of his three-match ban.<\/p>\n
Bullets loaned out Owen Chaima to Mbeya City Council FC in Tanzania. Bullets Assistant coach, Mabvuto Lungu, said before the game, Sanudi offered to play. Winger Fischer Kondowe was the improvised substitute keeper.<\/p>\n
Despite dropping dangerously balls twice in the penalty box after making diving saves, Sanudi\u2019s positioning and command of the box kept Bullets in the game.<\/p>\n
