{"id":31475,"date":"2016-09-08T11:25:49","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T09:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=31475"},"modified":"2016-09-08T11:25:51","modified_gmt":"2016-09-08T09:25:51","slug":"crazy-warriors-rescued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/09\/08\/crazy-warriors-rescued\/","title":{"rendered":"Crazy Warriors rescued"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the oldest Southern Zone Basketball League sides, Crazy Warriors, have narrowly escaped possible extinction after their former coach, Robert Munthali, returned to coach them.<\/p>\n<p>Warriors were forfeiting games due to lack of commitment from players and officials.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, Munthali returned in a 54-64 loss to Lox360 at Blantyre Youth Centre on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Munthali said he was not concerned with the defeat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe team could have collapsed. At the moment, losing does not matter much,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur play was quite good. I am concentrating on teaching the players the fundamentals of the game. Thereafter, we will build a strong team to challenge for honours next season,\u201d Munthali said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Lox360 captain, Nchane Nkhwazi, said the team was excited with their performance this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to finish in the top-four so that we should qualify for the play-offs.
