Recalled Flames midfielder, Robert Ng\u2019ambi, says time is ripe for the Malawi National Football Team to pay back its supporters when the side dates Swaziland in their last Group L 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Kamuzu Stadium tomorrow.<\/p>\n
The Platinum Stars midfielder was oftentimes overlooked by former Flames Coach, Ernest Mtawali, but he has been given a new lease of life by interim coach Nsazurwimo Ramadhan.<\/p>\n
Ironically, Ramadhan has called several players that were being sidelined including Mozambique-based duo Christopher John Banda, Chimango Kayira and Micium Mhone of Jomo Cosmos.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am always ready to serve my country. I am no longer concentrating on what happened in the past because I just want to help the country to win against Swaziland,\u201d Ng\u2019ambi said.<\/p>\n
The former Nyasa Big Bullets and defunct MDC United player said he was willing to follow the coach\u2019s advice on what role to play.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t mind if I play or not. What I want is that we should play as a team. We need to be united to give the supporters something to smile about. If I am on bench I don\u2019t mind as long as the team plays to win,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ng\u2019ambi also called supporters to embrace the making see red campaign to intimidate Swaziland.<\/p>\n
