Flames acting coach, Nsazurwimo Ramadhan, future as Malawi National Football Team coach depends on the result of Flames\u2019 Group L Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland set for Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n
It is not surprising the Burundian tactician has made it clear that his charges will show no mercy when they face Swaziland.<\/p>\n
Unlike Malawi, Swaziland have something to fight for as they can make it to next year\u2019s finals by virtue of being best losers.<\/p>\n
Malawi are at the bottom of the table with two points from five games whereas Swaziland lie on second position with eight points three below leaders Zimbabwe who play Guinea in another qualifier.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan, speaking during a press briefing at Football Associat ion of Malawi\u2019s Mpira Village yesterday, said Swaziland must fight for their qualification.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will not go into the match to watch them play. There is no way we will give up the game. We are minding our business. At the moment we know that we owe the nation a victory having failed to get one throughout the campaign. So if it means that we are spoiling their qualification chances let it be,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan also disclosed that Be Forward Wanderers midfielder Isaac Kaliati has been ruled out of the match due to injury.<\/p>\n
\u201cOtherwise all the players are fit and ready to die for their nation. I have explained it to them that we need to win to pay back to our stakeholders including supporters and sponsors,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ramadhan was backed by his troops captain Limbikani Mzava and recalled midfielder Robert \u2018Baggio\u2019 Ng\u2019ambi at the press briefing.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Football Association of Malawi (Fam) General Secretary, Suzgo Nyirenda, disclosed the association\u2019s executive will meet soon after the game to determine the future of the coaching panel.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to make a decision quickly because we would like to take part in Chan and Cecafa tournaments. So the result will count a lot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In a related development, three referees from DR Congo, South African match commissioner and Swaziland National Football Team are expected to arrive in the country today before the clash set for Sunday.<\/p>\n
