{"id":30691,"date":"2016-08-26T11:48:01","date_gmt":"2016-08-26T09:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=30691"},"modified":"2016-08-26T11:48:01","modified_gmt":"2016-08-26T09:48:01","slug":"mzuni-fc-chairperson-under-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/08\/26\/mzuni-fc-chairperson-under-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Mzuni FC Chairperson under fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mzuzu University Student Representative Council (MUSREC) has demanded the resignation of Mzuni FC\u2019s Chairperson, Felix Bello.<\/p>\n<p>The council accuses Bello of lacking motivation skills to inspire the team\u2019s stakeholders such as players and supporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith your limited knowledge of the game of football, you lack team-spirit\u2026 your leadership style may affect the performance of the club in the second round of the 2016 TNM Super League,\u201d reads part of the letter.<\/p>\n<p>The students also question Bello on how he intends to bail out the team from its financial crisis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease note that there is overwhelming evidence that the majority of the voters who put you in office have lost confidence in your leadership,\u201d the letter adds.<\/p>\n<p>The team\u2019s General Secretary, Khumbo Kumwenda, acknowledged receipt of the letter but asked to be called later.<\/p>\n<p>Bello said he was not aware of the letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me come back to you when I get the letter, otherwise, I cannot be responding to hearsay,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>Bello was elected as chairperson early this year on a two-year term of office, replacing Albert Harawa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mzuzu University Student Representative Council (MUSREC) has demanded the resignation of Mzuni FC\u2019s Chairperson, Felix Bello.
