{"id":29612,"date":"2016-08-09T11:19:02","date_gmt":"2016-08-09T09:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=29612"},"modified":"2016-08-09T11:19:02","modified_gmt":"2016-08-09T09:19:02","slug":"watch-out-for-serious-collabos-says-faith-mussa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/08\/09\/watch-out-for-serious-collabos-says-faith-mussa\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch out for serious collabos, says Faith Mussa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Singer and guitarist Faith Mussa famed for the hit <em>Desperate <\/em>has said people should watch the space as his recent United States of America tour he had alongside Peter Mawanga and Amaravi Movement offered him the best music experience.<\/p>\n<p>Before he left for the USA, Faith also gave people a one-man band performance, which he said was a new concept he had learnt during one of his outings in Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you do the same things in the same way all the times, don\u2019t expect a different result. America tour with Amaravi Movement was one of the best music experiences in my music career and so watch out for more serious collabos,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The artist added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn USA, we performed on great stages, two festivals \u2013 Mendocin Music Fest and World Fest and the rest were shows. We realised the gap that is there as regards African traditional music and we did our best and the feedback was awesome and encouraging.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The musician said they surely took Malawi further and they are still searching for more opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would really love it if Malawians started loving their music more. We are respected out there for the music we do but when you come home, it ranks low, let\u2019s promote Malawian music, play more Malawian music and export Malawian talent because it\u2019s a gold mine,\u201d Faith said.<\/p>\n<p>The artist also said he was excited with the release of his single <em>Mdidi <\/em>later this month as well as share the stage with well, known USA gospel singer and pastor Don Moen and South Africa\u2019s artist Sipho Makhabane.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a lot I will be involved in and I am so excited.
