{"id":29387,"date":"2016-08-04T11:07:14","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T09:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=29387"},"modified":"2016-08-04T11:07:14","modified_gmt":"2016-08-04T09:07:14","slug":"fmb-hypes-atm-usage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/08\/04\/fmb-hypes-atm-usage\/","title":{"rendered":"FMB hypes ATM usage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FMB on Tuesday launched a promotion dubbed \u2018ATM Ndi Banki Yanga\u2019aimed at encouraging customers to use ATMs instead of queuing in the banking halls when making financial transactions.<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s Head of Alternate Channels and Product Development, Lumbani Manda, said FMB has a network of 57 ATM machines across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want our customers to move from using banking halls in terms of bill payments and airtime top ups. Customers need to utilise the ATMs since the machines are there 24 hours every day,\u201d said Manda.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify, customers are required to make a minimum of three ATM transactions in a month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransactions include bill payments, airtime top ups and cash withdrawals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion, to be concluded in October, will see one lucky customer going away with K500,000 as a grand prize, with K250,000 as second prize and third prize is K100,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FMB on Tuesday launched a promotion dubbed \u2018ATM Ndi Banki Yanga\u2019aimed at encouraging customers to use ATMs instead of queuing in the banking halls when making financial transactions.
