Mobile service provider, TNM Limited has launched a new product called Contract for You. The product will allow customers to get voice, data and access to Wi- Fi hotspots on monthly basis.<\/p>\n
The product has four packages namely Classic, Lite, Plus and Ultimate.<\/p>\n
TNM Chief Executive Officer, Douglas Stevenson, said the company expects the new product to help increase both customer and revenue base.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first thing is that competition is not only about pricing, but the product\u2019s innovation. So we have launched a product that is going to exist. This is a contract, but we have done things differently which we are proud of.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are the first to launch such a product with data bundles, unlimited calls, free access to any Wi-Fi or hotspot,\u201d said Stevenson.<\/p>\n
He also said although the brand is targeting the corporate customers, the pricing will help to reach out to the rest of their customers.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a corporate product, but I think the big thing is the price point. We brought the price point down very low on the market to K10,000 for one to get on the contract, and obviously you can migrate upwards. People should know that we are evolving from a telephone company to an internet cafes company,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During the launch, seven customers were awarded for sampling out the new product for the past months, and among them were Dumisani Ngulube, Sungani Ntande and Maureen Masamba, all employees of Times Group.<\/p>\n
Ngulube said the product is good and has helped him save a lot of money in communication for both calls and internet.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is an exciting product. It changes the dynamic of the market. We are now in a competitive space and we are going to foresee that some of the players are going to follow suit and this is going to be beneficial to the consumers as the prices come down,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
