At Nankhaka Stadium in Lilongwe, second-placed Blue Eagles (26 points from 14 games) and sixth-positioned Nyasa Big Bullets (23 points from 13 games) played out to a goal-less draw.<\/p>\n
It was a drab draw as both teams failed to create scoring opportunities.<\/p>\n
In other games, Karonga United, who are on position 14 with 10 points, beat Red Lions 2-1 yesterday to worsen the soldiers\u2019 woes. The Lions have finished the first round with 14 points while positioned 12th.<\/p>\n
All bottom-placed teams won their respective matches this weekend as Dwangwa United also defeated Civo United 2-1 at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday.<\/p>\n
