{"id":28929,"date":"2016-07-28T10:01:58","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T08:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=28929"},"modified":"2016-07-28T10:01:58","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T08:01:58","slug":"three-students-win-big-in-nbs-promo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/07\/28\/three-students-win-big-in-nbs-promo\/","title":{"rendered":"Three students win big in NBS promo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Stock\u00a0 Exchange listed NBS Bank on Monday gave away cash prizes to three lucky student winners in the third draw of Nyumba Yanga promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Kumwenda, Vanessa Nyirenda and Maria Banda were the lucky students who walked away with K100,000, K150,000 and K200,000, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>NBS\u2019s Customer Services Manager, Tamanda Longwe, said the bank was overwhelmed with the response the promotion has received from customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are getting new entries every day and we have seen our deposits base being boosted through this promotion,\u201d Longwe said.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, one needs to be either a new or existing customer of NBS and deposit a minimum of K25,000 in their savings account to be maintain for a period of not less than one month.<\/p>\n<p>Fixed deposit account holders are required to maintain a minimum deposit of K250,000 and maintain it for at least a month to qualify for the K20 million house or cash equivalent which will be given away as a grand prize.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Stock\u00a0 Exchange listed NBS Bank on Monday gave away cash prizes to three lucky student winners in the third draw of Nyumba Yanga promotion.
