{"id":28820,"date":"2016-07-26T13:15:57","date_gmt":"2016-07-26T11:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=28820"},"modified":"2016-07-26T13:57:47","modified_gmt":"2016-07-26T11:57:47","slug":"peoples-in-refurbishment-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/07\/26\/peoples-in-refurbishment-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Peoples in refurbishment exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peoples on Monday unveiled a new look Victoria Avenue Savers Shop in Blantyre which the firm has renovated with money to the tune of K300 million.<\/p>\n<p>Peoples has also introducing a fast food serving bay in the shop to cater for customers in the Blantyre Central Business District.<\/p>\n<p>Press Corporations Limited (PCL) Operations Executive, John Biziwick, officially opened the shop in the company of new People\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Matthews Chikankheni.<\/p>\n<p>Peoples Operations Executive, Arvine Takadi, said the renovations were in line with customer demand for improved shopping experience.<\/p>\n<p>Takadi said the retail chain is committed to giving its customers a completely new shopping experience which is of international standards.<\/p>\n<p>He said from the Victoria Avenue shop, Peoples will also renovate all its shops across the country to raise the standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you are aware, People\u2019s or PTC has been the household name in as far as shopping is concerned.
