Former South Africa\u2019s Black Leopards defender, Harry Nyirenda, is reportedly on the verge of completing his return to Be Forward Wanderers.<\/p>\n
Nyirenda is training with Wanderers in Blantyre ahead of his return to the Lali Lubani Road.<\/p>\n
Nyirenda confirmed that he started training with Wanderers Tuesday, but there is no deal yet.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am just training with Wanderers to keep fit. I love the team [Wanderers], but I will tell you once something happens,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Last week, Nyirenda said after six years of playing for Leopards, a return to Wanderers was a possibility.<\/p>\n
He became a free-agent after rejecting a contract extension at Leopards.<\/p>\n
Nyirenda was part of the Flames squad that performed poorly at the Cosafa Castle Cup in Namibia last month.<\/p>\n
The Nomads General Secretary, Mike Butao, was not readily available for comment as we went to press.<\/p>\n
Sources indicate that, since his return from South Africa last week, Nyirenda and Wanderers have been talking.<\/p>\n
The former Eagles Beaks defender was also linked with moves to newly-promoted South African side, Highlands Park FC and Tanzanian giants, Simba FC.<\/p>\n
