{"id":2802,"date":"2015-05-21T09:02:30","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T09:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=2802"},"modified":"2015-05-21T09:02:30","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T09:02:30","slug":"malawi-government-still-investigating-nandolo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/05\/21\/malawi-government-still-investigating-nandolo\/","title":{"rendered":"Malawi government still investigating Nandolo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beleaguered Chief Executive Officer for Blantyre City Council Ted Nandolo will have to wait a little longer to get his verdict because the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is still investigating him.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development spokesperson Mulhabase Mughogho said this in an interview on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ministry has not passed the verdict yet. They are still investigating administrative issues,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>But Mughogho could not disclose the administrative issues the ministry is investigating.<\/p>\n<p>She said ministry officials are the ones that are currently conducting their investigations at Blantyre City Council.<\/p>\n<p>Mughogho also said Nandolo would remain on suspension on no pay.<\/p>\n<p>Nandolo refused to comment on the matter when contacted, saying those who made the decision are in a better position to answer all the questions.<\/p>\n<p>Nandolo was suspended for allegedly implementing salary increments without following required procedures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beleaguered Chief Executive Officer for Blantyre City Council Ted Nandolo will have to wait a little longer to get his verdict because the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is still investigating him.
