South Africa Absa Premier Soccer League side, Bloemfontein Celtic, have refused to confirm if they would recall Nyasa Big Bullets forward Chiukepo Msowoya for trials this month.<\/p>\n
Msowoya underwent trials at Celtic last year and he was told that he would be recalled when the transfer window opens in June.<\/p>\n
Now with the window open, Msowoya confirmed that Celtic have not hinted of his recall.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, they promised to invite me again this month but there has not been any communication from them. I am still waiting for their communication,\u201d he said on Monday.<\/p>\n
On whether he was losing patience with the delay, the Flames vice-captain was elusive.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will comment more on the matter if they communicate to me. I will not say anything at the moment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Celtic Team Manager, John Maduka, said the club had not decided on the potential transfer of Msowoya.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are currently on holiday and our offices are closed. We are considering several transfer options, but we will come up with concrete decisions next week. Call me next week, I will give you our final position,\u201d said the former Flames skipper in a telephone interview from his base in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Msowoya had a poor outing at the Cosafa Cup in Namibia where he failed to score and sparkle in three matches as the Flames were knocked out of the group stage.<\/p>\n
He has not scored in the last five national team games having netted in 2-1 loss to Guinea at Kamuzu Stadium in March.<\/p>\n
Earlier this season, Msowoya signed a one-year deal with Bullets. Last season, the striker won the TNM Golden Boot Award with 14 goals.<\/p>\n
Bullets\u2019 General Secretary, Kelvin Moyo, said the club had not decided on the compensation procedures in the event that Msowoya would be roped in by Celtic.<\/p>\n
Msowoya had a stint at Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars from 2010 to 2012.<\/p>\n
