{"id":25680,"date":"2016-06-07T12:53:54","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T10:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=25680"},"modified":"2016-06-07T12:53:54","modified_gmt":"2016-06-07T10:53:54","slug":"tanzania-giants-eye-harry-nyirenda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/06\/07\/tanzania-giants-eye-harry-nyirenda\/","title":{"rendered":"Tanzania giants eye Harry Nyirenda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tanzania side, Simba Football Club, are reportedly interested in Malawi National Football Team defender, Harry Nyirenda, whose contract with South Africa\u2019s Black Leopards expires at the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking from Zimbabwe where he played in the 0-3 loss to the Warriors on Sunday, Nyirenda said he was waiting for another offer from Highlands Park FC of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Nyirenda, who has spent six years at Leopards, confirmed that he met officials of Simba after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group L qualifier at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.<\/p>\n<p>He said he was going through Simba\u2019s contract while weighing the options as he might join Highlands Park once they earn Premier Soccer League promotion in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Highlands lead the National First Division play-offs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSimba officials came to watch our game and we had a discussion with them, but I am not in a rush because Highlands Park have also shown interest to sign me.
