{"id":24657,"date":"2016-05-20T12:02:15","date_gmt":"2016-05-20T10:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=24657"},"modified":"2016-05-20T12:02:15","modified_gmt":"2016-05-20T10:02:15","slug":"dye-mawindo-now-heads-mca-m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/05\/20\/dye-mawindo-now-heads-mca-m\/","title":{"rendered":"Dye Mawindo now heads MCA-M"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Board of the Millenium Challenge Account, Malawi (MCA-M) has appointed Dye Mawindo as the new Chief Executive Officer for MCA-M replacing Susan Banda.<\/p>\n<p>MCA-M is implementing a power compact project in the country through funding from the US government focusing largely on developing Malawi\u2019s energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>The project will among other things revitalise Malawi\u2019s power sector by upgrading electricity infrastructure and improving the performance of key institutions within the energy and power supply sectors.<\/p>\n<p>And a statement from MCA-M says Mawindo has been appointed to this position having previously served as Director of the Office of Public Procurement.<\/p>\n<p>The statement describes Mawindo as a general management expert who holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malawi and an MBA degree from the East and Southern African Institute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Board of the Millenium Challenge Account, Malawi (MCA-M) has appointed Dye Mawindo as the new Chief Executive Officer for MCA-M replacing Susan Banda.
