{"id":24642,"date":"2016-05-20T10:24:56","date_gmt":"2016-05-20T08:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=24642"},"modified":"2016-05-20T10:24:56","modified_gmt":"2016-05-20T08:24:56","slug":"eddington-ngonamo-for-attitude-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/05\/20\/eddington-ngonamo-for-attitude-change\/","title":{"rendered":"Eddington Ng\u2019onamo for attitude change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Newly-appointed Be Forward Wanderers coach, Eddington Ng\u2019onamo, has challenged his players to change their attitude towards matches if the club is to live up to expectations.<\/p>\n<p>In his first assignment on Wednesday, Ng\u2019onamo saw his side almost give away a four-goal lead in the last 10 minutes of a Presidential Cup Round -16 tie against Red Lions at Kamuzu Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomads conceded three late goals and were visibly relieved after the final whistle as they scraped their way to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p>Ng\u2019onamo lauded in-form forward, Peter Wadabwa, for putting in a good shift as he struck an impressive brace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn football, you need to work hard. Wadabwa played really well and his pace was far much better than the rest of the players. We want more players of Wadabwa\u2019s calibre. If we have five players that play with the hunger and determination like Wadabwa, we can be winning all games,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ng\u2019onamo added that team-work was vital as the Nomads seek to re-launch their Super League title bid with a trip to the North to play Karonga United and Moyale Barracks at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe strategy will be training the players on how to attack and defend as a team.
