But Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers have made a rather slow start to the 2016 Super League season, playing second fiddle to high-flying Blue Eagles, who have taken the league by storm, sitting pretty at the top.<\/p>\n
This weekend, both sides know they have to start bagging maximum points if they are to avoid succumbing to the pressure of their success-hungry and overzealous fans.<\/p>\n
After a 3-0 win over MDF Marine in the Presidential Cup, Bullets host Epac FC at Kamuzu Stadium this afternoon, whereas Wanderers welcome Mafco at the same venue tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Epac were hammered 5-2 by Bullets in their last visit last season, but the People\u2019s Team Technical Director, Billy Tewesa, insists his charges are not in complacent mood.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to start winning games. We understand that the fans expect a lot from us but we will are working hard to make sure that our title defence is successful,\u201d Tewesa said.<\/p>\n
Bullets would look up to captain Chiukepo Msowoya, slippery Dalitso Sailesi, McFarlen Ngwira, Muhammad Sulumba and Mike Mkwate to bang in the goals.<\/p>\n
However, Miracle Gabeya, John Lanjesi and the rest of the defence has to be wary of Epac\u2019s marksman Fletcher Bandawe who has made a good start after moving from Dedza Young Soccer.<\/p>\n
Overall Eagles are the only team with a perfect record in the league with 15 points from five matches, and they have scored the most goals\u2014(12) while conceding four.<\/p>\n
