Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has confirmed clearing 11 international transfers that were outstanding, the latest being that of Be Forward Wanderers-bound Nigerian Saheed Oluwa Shinaayomi.<\/p>\n
Fam International Transfer Matching System Manager, Casper Jangale, confirmed that the association cleared six players to play in the TNM Super League after making moves from foreign leagues. The rest are Malawian players who are joining foreign teams.<\/p>\n
Wanderers supporters have sampled the talent of forward Amos Bello, but they would have an opportunity to watch more Nigerian talent after the club sealed the transfer of 24-year-old Shinaayomi.<\/p>\n
He is a product of Shiba Football Academy in Nigeria and plays in at tacking positions.<\/p>\n
Shinaayomi joins Bello, Japanese Genki Nakamura, Foster Namwera, Alfred Manyozo Jnr and Jimmy Zakazaka, who have joined the Nomads from foreign clubs.<\/p>\n
Former Caps United defender, George Nyirenda, has returned to league champions, Nyasa Big Bullets.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can also confirm that Ndaziona Chatsalira, John Banda, Green Harawa and Schumacher Kuwali have been cleared to play in Mozambique. Most of the deals are permanent,\u201d Jangale said.<\/p>\n
However, Jangale was quick to state that Nomads\u2019 goalkeeper, Richard Chipuwa\u2019s move to Mozambican side Chingale FC had been shelved to clear out the uncertainty over his contract with Wanderers.<\/p>\n
The player claimed that he did not renew his contract with Wanderers before leaving while the club insisted that he had a running contract.<\/p>\n
Chipuwa would have to wait for the next international transfer window in August to play this season.<\/p>\n
Wanderers General secretary, Mike Butao, said he was locked up in a meeting yesterday, hence he was unable to comment. Earlier, Butao said Nakamura\u2019s work permit will likely be ready this week.<\/p>\n
His deputy, Chris Kananji, also said he had no details on the transfers.<\/p>\n
