Mgeme Kalilani will be seconded from the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) while Molande has been seconded from the Ministry of Information, Communications Technology and Civic Education,\u201d the statement from Ministry of Information, Communications Technology and Civic Education reads.<\/p>\n<p>In close to two years that Mutharika has been in office, he has hired and fired former Malawi News Editor, Frederick Ndala, broadcaster at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Timpunza Mwansambo and former Galaxy Radio broadcaster Viola.<\/p>\n<p>Ndala served as presidential spokesperson from June 2014 to January 2015 and Mwansambo served from January 2015 to April of the same year while Viola had been in office from April 2015 to April 4 this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A month after firing Gerald Viola as State House Press Secretary, President Peter Mutharika has hired Controller of News at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Mgeme Kalilani.
