Be Forward Wanderers Coach, Jack Chamangwana, says it is too early to press the panic button as the Nomads attempt to win the TNM Super League for the first time since 2006.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana\u2019s charges fired blanks at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday when Civo United forced them to a goal-less draw.<\/p>\n
Despite impressing in their opening game against Silver Strikers when they won 2-1, Wanderers have failed to win three games. They drew one-all with Dwangwa and the same score line against rivals Nyasa Big Bullets.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana said he was disappointed that Wanderers failed to create meaningful chances against Civo.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, we need to start winning games regularly for us to be considered as serious title chasers. Otherwise, at the rate we are going it is not good,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana said Wanderers\u2019 midfield needs to improve to supply strikers with telling passes.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe strikers hardly got service upfront and I think we need to help the midfielders to produce more movements and create chances. We can rate the strikers basing on their chances they are getting,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana, who has served at Flames in different capacities, said Wanderers have the capacity to mount a serious title challenge.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have quality players and once they understand each others\u2019 runs and coordinate well, we will be a force to reckon with in the league and cup games as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
