Flames striker, Gabadihno Mhango, netted four goals in 44 minutes as Golden Arrows thrashed Limbikani Mzava\u2019s Mpumalanga Black Aces 4-2 at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
The former Bloemfontein Celtic front-man produced one of his best performances in the Absa Premier Soccer League(PSL) when he came off the bench in the 36-minute to inspire a remarkable come-back for Arrows.<\/p>\n
He had replaced Nduduzo Sibaya with Arrows trailing by 2-0 after goals from Zambian striker, Collins Mbesuma and Judas Moseamedi.<\/p>\n
Mhango netted his first goal from the penalty spot in the 45th minute, before heading in the equaliser in stoppage time.<\/p>\n
The former Nyasa Big Bullets star then completed his hat-trick after 65 minutes with a neat finish, before netting the fourth after 80 minutes.<\/p>\n
Zimbabwean Kuda Mahachi was the architect of Mhango\u2019s second goals after providing assists, according to South African media reports.<\/p>\n
Arrows had Nkanyiso Cele\u2019s penalty saved by Shu-Aib Walters early in the first half.<\/p>\n
The victory pushed Arrows to 10th on the table with 33 points, whereas Aces slipped to fifth.<\/p>\n
Mhango\u2019s impressive performance is good news to the Flames, who have been struggling for goals in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.<\/p>\n
Former Flames midfielder, Hellings Mwakasungula, was pleased with Mhango\u2019s exploits, describing him as a rare gem.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is a goal-scoring machine. Scoring is his tradition and hopefully he will transform his form to the Flames,\u201d Mwakasungula said.<\/p>\n
