His late father was well known as Stonz among his followers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have for a long time been looking for a manager and promoter but now after many years I am happy that INS Media has come forth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mummdelanji said he is optimistic that things will get better with his music adding that he wants to continue the journey that his father started.<\/p>\n<p>INS Media official Martin Kantande said they are looking at working with different artists and that for now they have picked Mumdelanji because of his immense talent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not about just signing artists for the sake of it but we are looking at talent, promise and future.<\/p>\n<p>If you listen to Mumdelanji\u2019s music, you will hear that his songs are mature and he is talented,\u201d said Kantande.<\/p>\n<p>He said their firm which is registered is a new player on the media entertainment landscape in the country and that it has more to offer in terms of building the creative industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are specialists in each sphere connected to audiovisual production, event management, publicity and marketing; this means that we offer a holistic service to each client as well as music artists we have signed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kantande maintained they are serious in what they are doing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe firmly believe that any artist promotion drive has to incorporate all these facets; the result is sure to be a well coordinated, comprehensive marketing drive,\u201d said Kantande.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Kantande has revealed that the first assignment with Mumdelanji is to launch a double CD and DVD of the <em>Mzimu wa Agogo <\/em>album in September.<\/p>\n<p>He said that their vision was to position local artists with talent as integral members of the global multimedia family.<\/p>\n<p>Mumdelanji, who performed during the jazz afternoon last weekend in Blantyre sharing the stage with Ben Mankhamba and veteran Wendyham Chechamba has won the hearts of many with his songs such as \u2018Ndimakukonda.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blantyre-based entertainment media and artist promotion firm INS Media Entertainment has signed singer and guitarist Mumdelanji Lungu.
