{"id":22695,"date":"2016-04-16T08:56:35","date_gmt":"2016-04-16T06:56:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=22695"},"modified":"2016-04-16T08:56:35","modified_gmt":"2016-04-16T06:56:35","slug":"judiciary-investigates-mzimba-magistrate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/04\/16\/judiciary-investigates-mzimba-magistrate\/","title":{"rendered":"Judiciary investigates Mzimba magistrate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Judiciary says it is still gathering evidence on a case in which a Third Grade Magistrate in Mzimba is alleged to have assaulted a woman.<\/p>\n<p>Judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula said the case will be taken to court once investigations on the matter are complete.<\/p>\n<p>He dismissed fears that the authorities are delaying on the case because the suspect involved is from the Judiciary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe magistrate is still under investigation to get what transpired and conclude whether he is really an offender or not,\u201d said Mlenga.<\/p>\n<p>The magistrate, Tobias Sibale, was arrested last year in December in Mzimba after a 22-year old woman had reported to Kafukule Police Unit in the district that Sibale sexually abused her.<\/p>\n<p>Sibale hails from Temwamkondo village in the area of Traditional Authority Wenya in Chitipa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Judiciary says it is still gathering evidence on a case in which a Third Grade Magistrate in Mzimba is alleged to have assaulted a woman.
