Renowned Zambian comedians Bikiloni and Difikoti, real names Levison Nkhoma and Thomas Sipala, respectively, will on Easter perform in the country once again.<\/p>\n
Bikiloni and Difikoti performed in the country last year during the April Theatre Festival organised by Solomonic Peacocks.<\/p>\n
The duo will share the stage with local artists during a show slated for L\u2019s Berg Sports and Leisure Centre in Lilongwe on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n
The event, which will feature drama, comedy, music and poetry, is dubbed \u201cEaster Ya Phwete.\u201d<\/p>\n
Some of the local artists set to perform include presidential mimickers Atcheya, Aunt Geti and poet Robert Chiwamba.<\/p>\n
The music performances will come from Nyemba Nyemba boys of Symon & Kendall, Kanthu Kalinda, alias Kaka, and Haxi Momba.<\/p>\n
Event Manager, Emmanuel Phiri, said Easter Ya Phwete <\/em>is destined to give people a feast of activities.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen comedy meets poetry and music, the honeymoon is unlimited laughter. People should brace for nothing but the best,\u201d Phiri said.<\/p>\n He added:<\/p>\n \u201cWe are promising people an Easter Sunday full of unlimited laughter and fun. We will also provide tight security for the safety of our audience.
