{"id":19765,"date":"2016-02-29T10:58:22","date_gmt":"2016-02-29T08:58:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=19765"},"modified":"2016-02-29T10:58:22","modified_gmt":"2016-02-29T08:58:22","slug":"free-talk-time-minutes-for-tnms-subscribers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/02\/29\/free-talk-time-minutes-for-tnms-subscribers\/","title":{"rendered":"Free talk-time minutes for TNM\u2019s subscribers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>T<\/strong>NM is on Monday giving out 15 minutes of free talk time to all its customers for calling fellow TNM subscribers for three days as one way of saying \u201cthank you\u201d to the customers.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing the offer last Friday, TNM chief commercial officer, Daniel Makata, said the mobile phone operator decided to reward its customers with free talk time as a token of appreciation for their support towards the company and particularly its Mpamba money transfer service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful for the support that we are getting on Mpamba as evidenced by an increase in uptake of the service by Malawians. Last week our customers experienced intermittent services on Mpamba but we would like to report that all the problems have been resolved and the service has been restored to full capacity,\u201d said Makata.<\/p>\n<p>He said TNM customers can now continue to transact and enjoy a wide range of services offered on Mpamba.<\/p>\n<p>Makata said customers are now realising the benefits of using Mpamba for various transactions and that they are benefitting from the convenience and great time and money saving that mobile money offers.<\/p>\n<p>Makata said the increase in the growth of Mpamba transactions demonstrates the critical value of TNM\u2019s mobile money service as a catalyst for socio-economic development through mobile payments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMobile money is the new culture in business and personal life. Our Mpamba service was designed to add value to the country\u2019s economy by helping improve national payments and consumer transactions.
