General Alliance Insurance Limited and Rhino Insurance Brokers have jointly introduced a new insurance product on the local market targeted at the corporate world.<\/p>\n
The two companies said the new product, called MotorMax, has been launched following thorough market research conducted by experts from the two companies.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the launch at Blantyre Sports Club on Tuesday evening, General Alliance chief operations manager Richard Makombe said the new policy has various advantages for the corporate world.<\/p>\n
He said when coming up with the policy, the two companies looked at three major factors that included usage of the vehicles in general, pricing and aftermath of a motor accident.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a unique policy to those with more than one vehicle because once you pay premium for one vehicle, the rest of your vehicles are given a discounted premium,\u201d said Makombe.<\/p>\n
Rhino Insurance Brokers general manager Wesley Mataka described MotorMax as a \u201ctotal game changer\u201d in the motor insurance market as it has key features that cannot be obtained elsewhere.<\/p>\n
\u201cMotorMax has rating structure, increased third party limits, medical expenses in the event of accident and injuries, hiring of an alternative vehicle and overnight accommodation, among others,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He said where an accident happens and the victim gets stranded and needs a place to sleep or seek medical attention, the premium covers for that as well.<\/p>\n
Mataka said claims under the policy are processed within the same day where all documentation is available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
