Malawian women\u2019s football striker, Tabitha Chawinga proved that she is ready for Swedish new season when she scored a hat-trick as Kvarnsvedens IK beat Gusk 7-0 in their first pre-season game played on a chilly Saturday.<\/p>\n
Chawinga scored a first-half hat-trick before Lisa Linda, Sara Elnicky, Lovisa and Lova Lundin added a goal each.<\/p>\n
The Swedish Women\u2019s Premier League resumes on March 3, 2016.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, the former DD Sunshine striker said she was geared up for the top-flight league having set alight the lower leagues in two consecutive seasons.<\/p>\n
The Swedish league has many world-class players, including Brazilian, Marta.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am ready for the new season after a three -month break. I am confident that I will not struggle because during off-season, I was also training with my former team in Malawi,\u201d Chawinga said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s freezing here, but being my third season in Sweden, I have adapted well to such conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n
She finished as top goal scorer with 43 goals in the Swedish second-tier league last season.<\/p>\n
Chawinga inspired Kvarnsvederns to win the championship, and also earn an automatic promotion to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
