South Africa\u2019s artist Heavy K is expected to perform in the country early next month.<\/p>\n
Heavy K, real name Mkhululi Siqula, will perform in the country courtesy of Chez Ntemba International.<\/p>\n
According to DJ Bwanamkubwa of Chez Ntemba International, Heavy K\u2019s first performance will be at Chez Ntemba in Lilongwe on March 4 before dating Chez Ntemba in Blantyre the following day.<\/p>\n
The Port Elizabeth born spinner and in-demand producer, Heavy K also known as Drum Boss is coming along with his manager, lead guitarist, two dancing queens and Pumi, a lady who doubles as a musician and dancing queen.<\/p>\n
\u201cHeavy K has done two songs with Pumi but she also has her own songs which I am sure Malawians will love,\u201d said DJ Bwanamkubwa.<\/p>\n
He added that he will perform in the country after his exploits at Chez Ntemba in Zambia on Valentine\u2019s Day eve.<\/p>\n
Speaking in a telephone interview from Zambia, Heavy K, who has also been nominated for the Metro FM Award set for February 26, said he is excited to perform in Malawi.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t wait to be in Malawi. I am prepared for the shows and I promise nothing but the best,\u201d said Heavy K.<\/p>\n
The artist said he has worked with several other musicians including Big Nuzz, Tira, Professor and Oskido.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am an open minded artist and free to work with Malawian artists. I am free to do some collaborations with any other artist who will make himself or herself available for me before, during and after the show,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old artist is a self-taught music composer, songwriter, Producer, DJ and Performer.<\/p>\n
Some of his popular songs are \u2018Drum Bos,\u2019 \u2018Sweetie,\u2019 and \u2018Izizwe.\u2019<\/p>\n
Heavy-K is one of the founders and composer for the Notorious DJ\/Producers group \u2018Point 5\u2019 and has contributed a number of hits for Point 5 tracks such as the award winning track \u2018Lento,\u2019 produced by Professor and Speedy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
